Hialeah Police officer killed in motorcycle, vehicle crash in Homestead 

HOMESTEAD, FL – A 22-year-old man who was an officer for the Hialeah Police Department lost his life when his personal motorcycle collided with another vehicle Thursday. 

CBS Miami said this collision took place before 5 p.m. at the Campbell Drive & Southwest 147th Avenue junction. Hialeah Police identified the officer as Anthony Caabeiro.

Caabeiro was off-duty at the time of the wreck. It is not immediately clear what led to the crash and who was at fault.
