Girl, 15, critically hurt in Vero Lake Estates crash 

VERO LAKE ESTATES, FL – A driver of a 2020 Ford Ranger struck a 15-year-old girl at the corner of 102nd Court and 79th Street junction, putting her in critical condition Friday. 

WPTV said the collision took place around 7 a.m. Upon arrival, first responders airlifted the teenage girl to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, where she is recovering. 

Florida Highway Patrol confirmed the driver was a 16-year-old boy. Troopers have not revealed if he will be cited at this time.
