Fire crews extinguish vehicle fire on U.S. 27 near Weston 

NEAR WESTON, FL – Fire crews have extinguished the flames of a vehicle that caught on fire on U.S. 27 North Thursday, north of I-75 and Weston. 

Florida Highway Patrol and fire crews were made aware of this incident at 8:16 p.m. and arrived at the scene just before 8:30 p.m. The scene had cleared a little after 8:45 p.m. 

Troopers have not specified whether the fire was caused by a collision or mechanical issues. In addition, they did not say if anyone sustained injuries.
