FHP summoned to crash with SUV, reports of guns in Boynton Beach
BOYNTON BEACH, FL – Florida Highway Patrol were called to the scene of a crash on I-95 involving a red SUV and had reports of individuals with firearms Monday.
The collision took place south of the exit to Woolbright Road amid heavy storms, according to CBS 12. A Florida Highway Patrol was seen standing beside the damaged red SUV.
It’s unclear whether anyone from that SUV was injured. Drivers in the area had claimed that two black men, who were allegedly armed with guns, had gotten out of their vehicles. It’s unclear if these men drove away from the accident scene or if they had any direct involvement in the crash that wrecked the SUV.
The public alleged that money, which had come from the black men’s vehicle, had fallen out and scattered all over the road.
Florida Highway Patrol has been able to provide a definitive answer regarding the events leading to the crash, whether the men actually had guns on them, and if the loose change had made their way onto the highway.
