FHP investigates deadly I-95 collision in Boca Raton
BOCA RATON, FL – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances behind a deadly collision on I-95 North reported after 5:30 a.m. Friday on I-95 North.
This crash occurred between Congress Avenue and Yamato Road, CBS 12 said. Upon arrival, FHP and other first responders shut down four lanes to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation. Officials did encourage commuters in the area to reduce their speed during this clearance procedure.
At the time of the reporting, traffic was at a standstill with backup toward Yamato Road.
The exact details behind this crash remain unclear. However, based on a photo from the initial source, it appears that a white van was involved. No additional information, which includes the victim’s age, gender, and place of residency has been disclosed.
