FHP investigates 2 separate FL’s Turnpike crashes in Port St. Lucie 

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the details behind two separate crashes that took place on Florida’s Turnpike Wednesday night. 

The first collision happened on the southbound lanes and was reported at 7:51 p.m. FHP arrived at the scene of this automobile wreck at 7:55 p.m. 

The second crash took place on the northbound lanes before 8:30 p.m. Florida Highway Patrol said crews cleared the debris leftover from this wreck, but the crews are currently working on restoring safe road conditions after the first accident. 

FHP has not commented on the events that led to these collisions, listed the number of people and vehicles involved, or said if anyone was injured or sent to a hospital.
