Elderly lady’s life taken after left-turn crash in West Palm Beach 

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – An 83-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday, Feb 4, following a left turn collision that happened on Sunday, Jan 5. 

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office told CBS12 the events unfolded when the elderly lady, who was driving a Kia SUV, turned left on southbound Kirk Road and struck a Toyota Camry. 

The Toyota driver sustained minor wounds as a result. 

Upon arrival, EMS crews rushed the 83-year-old woman to St. Mary’s Medical Center. Her condition worsened, and she was released to a hospice center. There, she finally passed away. Police have identified her as Helen West.
