Drivers crash into canals in Boynton Beach, officials say 

BOYNTON BEACH, FL – First responders were called to two separate collisions that involved drivers crashing into canals Sunday. 

The first crash happened in the area of Boynton Beach Boulevard and State Route 7 before 10 a.m., CBS 12 reported. The driver was trapped and extricated and then sent to the hospital for unspecified injuries. 

The second collision took place in the area of the Woolbright Road and Lawrence Road intersection before 5 p.m. Three people were hospitalized for unspecified injuries. No other information is available.
