Driver killed by Brightline Train in Oakland Park
OAKLAND PARK, FL – One person was killed on Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a Brightline train near Oakland Park, local news reports.
The fatal collision occurred near the intersection of North Dixie Highway and Northeast 62nd Street around 2:30 p.m.
The victim was a driver in a vehicle that was struck as it attempted to cross the tracks. No other injuries have been reported.
