Driver fatally hits 87-year-old woman crossing Palm Beach Co. junction 

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL — At approximately 6:46 a.m. Tuesday, a driver hit an 87-year-old woman crossing a junction near West Palm Beach, resulting in her death. 

This collision occurred at Haverhill Road, within proximity of Eadie Place, according to WPTV

A preliminary report shows that a motorist operating a 2017 Toyota Corolla had hit Theresa Thirbenny as she crossed Haverhill. When the vehicle made contact with Thirbenny, she was capitulated over the vehicle’s roof before coming to rest on the road. 

Officials rushed her to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where she later died. 

The driver remained at the crash site. There was no mention of pending charges.
