Driver fatally hits 44-year-old man standing next to disabled vehicle on I-95
DELRAY BEACH, FL – A 44-year-old man standing next to a disabled vehicle on the I-95 South shoulder lost his life when he was struck by a Chevrolet Camaro around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
WPTV said this collision took place along Linton Boulevard. After the Camaro driver — a 53-year-old man — hit the 44-year-old man, he struck a guardrail and then another vehicle before coming to rest on a southbound entrance ramp.
The 44-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 53-year-old man was sent to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
