Driver escapes injuries following semi crash in Boynton Beach
BOYNTON BEACH, FL – A semi-truck driver was able to escape injuries after they crashed their truck due to a broken water main that spilled floods of water Wednesday.
This collision was reported around 2 a.m. at the Boynton Beach Boulevard and Lawrence Road junction, according to the City of Boynton.
Around 2 a.m., a broken water main began flooding the road at Boynton Beach Blvd. and Lawrence Road. A truck driver was uninjured when he drove into the area and became stuck. The impact of the crash led the truck to become stuck and become crooked. Crews were able to stabilize the vehicle. However, after they cleared the scene, drivers were still asked to avoid the area due to the water broken main.
