Driver cited for Port St. Lucie crash that sent teen to hospital 

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – Port St. Lucie Police cited the driver of a vehicle for running over a 17-year-old teenager, who was sent to a hospital Wednesday. 

CBS 12 said the crash happened before 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of SE Lennard Road and SE Avalon Road. Fire crews immediately rushed the teenager to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce. Pandemics did not state the minor’s current physical condition, and police did not specify the motorist’s specific citations.
