Driver arrested after fatal hit-and-run in Lake Worth Beach
LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL – A man from Boynton Beach was arrested this week in connection with a fatal March hit-and-run, WPTV reports.
On March 11th, the suspect was driving a stolen 2004 Toyota Matrix at a high speed in the intersection of Cochran Avenue and Twelve Avenue South.
As he attempted to make a left turn, the suspect lost control of his Toyota, left the road, and struck a man on his bicycle.
The victim, a 74-year-old man, passed away at the scene. The suspect, a 40-year-old man, fled the scene before being arrested this week.
He is facing multiple charges in connection to this incident.
