Dirt bike-car crash in Loxahatchee leaves boy in critical condition 

LOXAHATCHEE, FL – An 13-year-old boy riding a dirt bike collided with a Nissan Murano Tuesday, leaving him in critical condition, WPTV reported. 

This crash happened before 6:30 p.m. along Acreage Pines Elementary School, located in the 14200 block of Orange Boulevard. The boy was operating his dirt bike on the sidewalk, and after crashing into the car, he went onto the car’s off before falling on the road. 

The preteen is recovering at St. Mary’s Medical Center. 

The driver remained at the scene. Officials have not confirmed if impairment, distracted driving, or other factors played a role in this crash, nor revealed any pending charges or citations.
