Deputy hospitalized after car, motorcycle wreck in Miami

MIAMI, FL – A Miami-Dade County deputy was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital South Trauma Center after colliding with a silver Volkswagen Wednesday. 

This collision happened around 3 p.m. Southwest 15nd Street along 138th Avenue, according to WSVN. The car was left with a shattered windshield and minor to moderate front-end damage. 

The deputy’s current physical condition has not been disclosed. 

No other details, including whether the car driver will be charged, have been confirmed.
