Delray Beach Police ID victim killed in train, pedestrian crash

DELRAY BEACH, FL – Delray Beach Police has released the name of the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a Brightline train along the North Old Dixie Highway and NE 22nd Lane junction Monday. 

Before 10 p.m., 50-year-old Jeffery Balsewich had illegally crossed the train tracks when he was hit, CBS 12 revealed. 

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 

No other details are available.
