Cyclist injured at Fort Lauderdale International Airport
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A man on a bicycle was injured after being struck by a car outside of Fort Lauderdale International Airport, Local 10 News reports.
The accident occurred around 4 a.m. on the 3800 block of West Perimeter Road. Four flight attendants from Delta and Southwest Airlines provided first aid as they waited for an ambulance to arrive.
The man, who appeared to be in his twenties, was initially unresponsive but later woke up in a significant amount of pain.
Police are investigating the incident. No further information is available at this time.
