Cyclist fatally struck by vehicle near Jupiter 

NEAR JUPITER, FL – A bicyclist succumbed to their injuries after colliding with a vehicle on U.S. 1 along Jonathan-Dickinson State Park Monday, CBS 12 said. 

Florida Highway Patrol and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. After arriving, they closed the area for the scene clearance and investigation period. During the closures, authorities advised commuters to seek alternative routes. 

All lanes were set to reopen around 10 a.m. 

Officials did not specify what kind of vehicle the cyclist was struck by or reveal their age or place of residence.
