Crash in North Fort Lauderdale claims life of at least one person

NORTH FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – At least one person lost their life in a collision on the southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike Tuesday. 

WSVN said this collision happened before 1 a.m. near Commercial Boulevard. Authorities shut down the southbound directions and did not say when all lanes would reopen, released the name and identity of the person who passed away, listed the number and kind of people involved, and revealed the circumstances leading up to this crash.
