Crash in Fort Lauderdale leaves one dead, two hospitalized
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – One person was killed and two were injured after a car went airborne in a Fort Lauderdale intersection, WSVN reports.
The deadly crash occurred on Tuesday around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Northwest 31st Avenue and Broward Boulevard. A white Ford was speeding in the wrong lane on 31st. and went airborne as it approached the intersection.
The Ford then struck a Lexus in the intersection. The driver of the Ford was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center with serious injuries but later passed away.
The driver and passenger in the Lexus were also hospitalized with minor injuries.
