Crash in Delray Beach leaves six dead
DELRAY BEACH, FL – Six people were killed in a Delray Beach accident caused by a suspected drunk driver, WPTV reports.
The deadly crash occurred around 11 p.m. on Thursday night on the 14000 block of U.S. Highway 441. A 17-year-old boy was driving a 2019 BMW M5 at high speeds when he rear-ended a 2018 Nissan Rogue carrying six people.
The Rogue spun out into a median where it flipped and rolled several times. Five of the people in the Rogue passed away at the scene and the sixth later died at Delray Medical Center.
The 17-year-old driver sustained minor injuries and is suspected of driving under the influence.
