Crash in Belle Glade Kills One, Leaves Four Injured
BELLE GLADE, FL – An accident near Palm Beach State College’s Belle Glade Campus resulted in one death and four injures on Thanksgiving afternoon, according to the Palm Beach Post.
The accident occurred around 5 p.m. on State Route 715. A 45-year-old man was travelling southbound in a Nissan Altima when he suddenly swerved into oncoming traffic and struck a Dodge Durango.
All four occupants of the Durango suffered serious injuries and were taken to Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade. The driver of the Altima was critically injured and flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach before he succumbed to his injuries around 6:30 p.m.
