Construction worker, 67, in critical condition after hit-and-run

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A 67-year-old man sustained critical, life-threatening wounds after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver while working on a construction project Thursday. 

This crash was reported after 3:30 a.m. at the Congress Avenue and Executive Center Drive junction, according to WPTV. The man — Louis Vixon — was working to resurface the roadway when he was hit by a motorist who came into the construction zone. 

The force of the collision led Vixon to hit another worker. The employee who was stricken was unharmed. 

Vixen was sent to West Palm Beach Hospital and had a surgical operation. His current is unknown.
