Collision closes two lanes on southbound Palmetto Expy near Doral

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Authorities responded to a vehicle crash late Wednesday afternoon, July 24, on the Palmetto Expressway near Doral, according to FL511 Southeast.

The accident, which impacted the southbound lanes (State Route 826) before the ramps to Dolphin Expressway {State Route 836), was first reported by the Florida Department of Transportation at 4:44 p.m.

No information indicating the cause of the wreck has been made available, but the two left lanes wre blocked in the immediate aftermath.

By 4:53 p.m., a Road Ranger had arrived on the scene. Motorists were instructed to make room or slow down for the emergency response.


As of this writing, no injuries have been confirmed, and no charges have been reported.
