Car, Miami police cruiser crash sends 2 to hospital
MIAMI, FL – A collision between a gray Honda car and a Miami police cruiser sent two people to a hospital Wednesday, WSVN said.
The collision took place at 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Southwest 25th Avenue and Sixth Street. Video footage revealed that the Miami police officer was left with a hand laceration. EMS crews transported the officer to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
There was no confirmation on whether the driver of the Honda was hospitalized, although first responders did indicate that both motorists were left with non-life-threatening injuries.
First responders did not specify the exact cause of the crash or say who was at fault.
