Car lands in canal following hit-and-run in Miami
MIAMI, FL – A driver, who later fled the scene, was responsible for rear-ending another vehicle, causing the motorist of the struck vehicle to crash into a canal Thursday.
This collision took place around 9 p.m. in the area of Florida’s Turnpike extension and Southwest 8th Street, according to WSVN. The driver of the hit car was able to get out of the water and escaped physical harm.
Officials who did respond to the scene have not yet provided a description of the suspect or their vehicle.
