Car lands in Boca Raton canal after crash that sent 4 to hospital 

BOCA RATON, FL – First responders took four people to the hospital following a two-vehicle wreck that landed one inside a canal Monday. 

The Palm County Fire Rescue told WPBF they were summoned to Boca Fall Drive and Palmetto Park Road around 12:30 (but did not specify whether this collision happened during daylight or nighttime hours.) 

After arriving, fire rescue crews extricated one person from the vehicle inside the canal prior to hospitalizations. 

Medical helicopter personnel flew three of the occupants to a hospital, and another was transported via an ambulance. 

First responders have not disclosed the events that led to this crash.
