Car fire on SR-9 S in West Palm Beach prompts lane closures

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A car caught on fire on southbound SR-9, leading to roadblocks on the right and center lanes Monday. 

Fire crews were dispatched to the scene, which occurred along Blue Heron Boulevard, after 6 p.m. and arrived on site four minutes later, according to the FHP live traffic report page

Troopers did not state the cause of the fire, how many vehicles and people were affected, or if anyone was hurt. 

More details will be posted upon confirmation from officials.
