Car driver fatally collides with scooter rider in Boca Raton 

BOCA RATON, FL – A scooter rider suffered fatal injuries after they were struck by a 2015 Cadallic Escalade Thursday. 

The specifics of what led to the collision are unclear. However, CBS 12 said that preliminary details from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office suggested that the Cadillac driver swerved to try to avoid hitting the electric scooter rider operator.The attempt was unsuccessful, and the car’s front passenger headlight collided with the person, ejecting them from the scooter. 

Upon landing, the victim perished at the scene. 

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) also responded to the crash site and confirmed the driver was unharmed. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.
