Car and tanker truck crash, causing rollover on I-95 in Miami

MIAMI, FL – After a gray sedan and a Tropic Oil tanker truck crashed, it caused the truck to overturn and fuel to spill on I-95 Sunday.

The spill on I-95 left authorities no choice but to shut down the southbound lanes in the area of Northwest 103 Street in the vicinity of Miami Shores and Pinewood so that Miami-Dade Fire Rescue could clean up the fuel spill, Local 10 reported.

The impact of the crash, as indicated in video footage, left the gray car completely damaged as well. The tanker truck’s cab (affiliated with the Medley-based Tropic Oil Company (also a primary distributor for the state of Florida and Mobil) seemed to be intact for the most part.

There have been no reports of injuries or other details regarding this crash.
