Bus driver fatally collides with pedestrian in Delray Beach 

DELRAY BEACH, FL – A 56-year-old adult who walked in front of and was then hit by a white Ford bus succumbed to fatal wounds immediately Tuesday. 

Around 9:45 a.m., the pedestrian was walking along the I-95 northbound shoulder and then, for reasons, stepped into on-coming traffic and was struck by the bus along Atlantic Avenue, WPTV reported. 

Florida Highway Patrol said the driver was unable to stop, which initiated the crash. Delray Fire Rescue were the first responders to pronounce the pedestrian, whose name was not released, dead at the scene. 

The bus driver was unharmed.
