Brightline train fatally hits person in Deerfield 

DEERFIELD, FL – A person succumbed to fatal wounds after they were struck by a train near South Dixie Highway Wednesday, CBS 12 reported. 

This collision occurred around 3:45 p.m. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office said the person was declared descended at the scene. 

At this time, officials have not specified if the person was a driver, passenger, or pedestrian. In addition, they did not release their identity.
