Boy fatally struck by Tri-Rail train in Broward Co.
BROWARD COUNTY, UT – A boy was killed when he stepped onto the train tracks in Broward County and was struck by a Tri-Rail train in Oakland Park Sunday.
CBS 12 News said the collision happened in the area of West Commercial Boulevard and Interstate 95. When the boy stepped on the tracks, he did not move and was hit by the train.
The juvenile’s death was confirmed Wednesday. Officials did not release the boy’s name or specify his age.

In a similar incident, a 42-year-old also lost her life when she hit a train safety gate arm and was then fatally struck by a Tri-Rail train on Monday.
