Boat catches fire in North Palm Beach, sending 1 to hospital

NORTH PALM BEACH, FL – First responders flew a person, via a medical helicopter, to the hospital after the boat they were on caught on fire Saturday.

This incident occurred around 7 a.m. along Northlake Boulevard, behind the Lott Brothers Bait and Tackle establishment, CBS 12 reported. 

Fire crews did not confirm whether the fire was caused by a mechanical issue or resulted in a crash. 

In addition, authorities have not provided an update on the injured person’s condition.
