Authorities respond to fatal crash involving motor scooter in Delray Beach

DELRAY BEACH, FL – WPTV5 News reports that a crash involving a motor scooter left one person dead and another injured in Delray Beach on Monday.

The crash was reported shortly after 2:00 p.m. near the intersection of Jog Road and Oriole Boulevard. Authorities say a motor scooter and another unidentified vehicle were involved in the accident.

One person was killed in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene. Another person sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
