At least 1 killed in crash on Florida’s Turnpike in Fort Pierce

FORT PIERCE, FL – A fatality was reported in a crash that happened on the southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike Monday night. 

Troopers were dispatched to the scene after 7:30 p.m. and arrived at the site before 8 p.m., according to the FHP live traffic report page

Officials did indicate that at least one lane is blocked, which means drivers should proceed with caution and may want to consider alternative routes.
