Accident blocks Florida’s Turnpike near Homestead
HOMESTEAD, FL – Major delays were reported following a collision in the Homestead area on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Florida 511, the crash happened at about 1:36 p.m. along Florida’s Turnpike South near Exit 2 to Campbell Drive.

The freeway was blocked completely for some time following the crash while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
We do not know at this time if anyone was injured in the wreck.
