One killed in Oakland Park crash
OAKLAND PARK, FL – One person was killed in a fiery crash in Oakland Park on Wednesday morning, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Dixie Highway and Oakland Park Boulevard around 1:15 a.m. A driver lost control of their vehicle, left the road, and struck a utility pole. The car then burst into flames.
The driver was killed at the scene. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
