Motorcyclist killed in Pompano Beach crash
POMPANO BEACH, FL – A 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Pompano Beach on Monday, local news reports.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Southeast 15th Street and South Federal Highway around 7 p.m. The victim was riding south on a 2017 Honda CBR1000 motorcycle when a northbound 2013 Volkswagen Jetta attempted to make a left turn in front of him.
He struck the side of the Jetta and lost control of his motorcycle, striking a 2022 Hyundai Elantra before being ejected. He was rushed to the hospital where he later passed away.
The 76-year-old driver and passenger in the Jetta also sustained minor injuries. The Elantra driver was uninjured.
