Crash in tunnel near Fort Lauderdale airport leaves driver dead
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A crash early Monday morning left a driver dead near the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, CBS Miami reports.
The crash occurred around 3 a.m. on South Federal Highway near Griffin Road. A silver car lost control and hit a concrete wall head-on.
The only occupant was the driver, who was killed in the crash. It is not clear why the vehicle struck the wall.
