72-year-old woman killed in Greenacres crash
GREENACRES, FL – A 72-year-old woman was killed in Greenacres on Sunday morning after being hit by a pickup truck, the Palm Beach Post reports.
The woman was driving her minivan near Greenacres Elementary School when she struck by a pickup truck near the intersection of Haverhill Road and Clinton Boulevard around 4 a.m.
Her van was hit on the passenger side as she was traveling north on Haverhill, causing it to leave the road and roll over. The pickup truck diver, a 19-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He also suffered minor injuries.
