Multi-vehicle crash leaves truck driver dead on I-95
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A 35-year-old truck driver was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 Monday night in West Palm Beach, CBS 12 reports.
The accident occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 near Forest Hill Boulevard. It began when a driver cut off another car, causing them to lose control and crash into the left side of the victim’s truck.
The truck then spun off the highway and rolled over multiple times. The 35-year-old man driving was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other car careened off the highway and struck a Florida Highway Patrol vehicle that had been parked at the Forest Hill Boulevard exit ramp.
Two people in that car and an officer in the Highway Patrol vehicle all sustained minor injuries.
