Woman injured after being struck by vehicle in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH, FL – A 51-year-old woman was struck by a hit-and-run driver and suffered serious injuries in Boynton Beach on Sunday night, WPTV reports. 

The accident occurred 9 p.m. on the 1000 block of North Seacrest Boulevard. The victim was attempting to cross the street when she was hit by a northbound Nissan Altima .

The woman was then thrown 36 feet and sustained a broken pelvis, broken right shoulder and head trauma.

Boynton Beach police are currently searching for a grey, newer model Nissan Altima with damage on the front passenger side.
