Woman killed following crash near the Mall at Wellington Green
WELLINGTON, FL – A 78-year-old woman succumbed to injuries sustained in an accident near the Wellington Green Mall six days earlier, local news reports.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Stribling Way and Castellina Way around 12:30 p.m. on November 29th.
The victim was traveling west on Stribling Way in a Mazda 3 when she attempted to make a U-turn at Castellina Way. Her vehicle was then struck by an eastbound Ford Mustang.
The Mazda’s driver was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, where she passed away six days later. The Mustang’s driver sustained minor injuries. No charges have been filed against that individual.
