Cyclist struck, killed by vehicle in Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A cyclist was killed after being hit by a car in Fort Lauderdale early Saturday morning, WFTL reports.
The accident occurred on Avenue of Arts Bridge, just west of Los Olas Boulevard around 4 a.m.
A red vehicle struck the cyclist as they were riding. The cyclist was killed at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Further details on the cause of the crash are not currently available.
