Scooter rider critically injured in crash with semi-truck in Miami
MIAMI, FL – A man was rushed to the hospital after colliding with a semi-truck while riding a scooter in Miami early this morning.
According to the Miami Herald, the scooter rider went through the stop sign at Southwest 12th Avenue and Coral Way and slammed into the truck.
The unidentified man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
The intersection was blocked for several hours while investigators worked at the scene.
