23-year-old woman ejected from vehicles, dies on Florida’s Turnpike
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A 23-year-old woman died Nov. 6 when she lost control of her SUV, crashed and was ejected onto Florida’s Turnpike near Griffin Rd.
According to NBC Miami, the woman’s SUV struck a pickup truck, flipped and landed on its roof. The victim was ejected into the northbound lanes. The driver of a third car attempted to avoid the crash and hit the victim’s car, which in turn hit the victim.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released.
Police are investigating.
