One injured after car plows into Boca Raton restaurant
BOCA RATON, FL – One person was transported to a hospital after a driver of a car crashed into a restaurant on Lakeridge Boulevard Tuesday, WPBF reports.
An eyewitness told the source that the driver had allegedly gone over a curb before plowing into the establishment.
Authorities did not specify if the injured individual was the driver, a restaurant employee, or a customer or confirm the extent of injuries sustained.
Crews were summoned to the scene to clean up the debris.
Officials did not confirm the name of the restaurant, nor did the owner comment on whether and how long they would have to close business for the necessary building repairs.
