Martin Co. deputy hospitalized after crash with train in Jupiter 

JUPITER, FL – First responders rushed a Martin County deputy to a hospital for treatment of minor wounds after getting hit by a freight train while responding to a burglary Monday. 

The crash happened at 4:45 a.m. at SE County Line Road and SE Suddard Drive, CBS 12 reports. The freight train appeared to have not been damaged. 

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has not provided additional commentary regarding the burglary or the crash.
